EFI Fuel Line Routing Using an Adjustable Regulator After the Fuel Rails with Billet Rails

This diagram illustrates optimal fuel-line routing configurations for EFI systems when using an adjustable bypass regulator downstream of the fuel rails. Two main setups are:

  1. Dual-return setup: Two feed lines—one from each fuel rail-return to the regulator.

  2. Single-return setup: A single return line from the fuel rails into the regulator.

The diagram illustrates fuel flow from the pump, through the rails, into the regulator, and back to the tank—ideal for clean, efficient EFI plumbing.

Not recommended for remote start applications due to the system bleeding pressure from key off.

Note the flex fuel sensor must be installed before the regulator.
