The original SmoothBoost Hellcat Bypass Controller is a standalone device designed to operate the factory Hellcat bypass valve in supercharger swap applications. This controller is crucial when integrating a Hellcat supercharger into a build where the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) cannot directly manage the bypass valve.

Just like our other systems the bypass position is completely variable meaning the instant amount of boost you get is based on your throttle position. This provides your supercharger factory drivability no matter the power level.

  • Included Remote Mount Boost Knob: Adjust boost levels to enhance drivability, accommodate varying fuel quality or lower stress on the engine and drivetrain. This controller allows you to dial down a 1000+ horsepower engine to a more manageable 500 horsepower with a simple adjustment. Note: The boost knob is optional to use and can be left off if you have no reason to lower the boost. This can be swapped out for our SB-DCA module for ECU control.

  • Optional inputs including: Boost Scramble to override the low boost setting as well as a Boost Cut that can be wired as a failsafe or to a button for a valet mode

  • Versatile Integration: Ideal for Hellcat supercharger swaps, this device can also be custom-installed and tuned to work with factory Hellcat-based vehicles, offering flexibility and performance enhancement by having a way to control boost levels on the fly as well as boost ramps when using an outside source such as the PWM(-) output of a nitrous controller

  • Aftermarket ECU Integration: Expand your boost control capabilities with the SB-DCA module, allowing the controller to be managed directly from an aftermarket ECU. This integration offers enhanced tuning flexibility and advanced control over boost levels for things like Ethanol content and traction control.
